A short and simple stream, ideal for practitioners with little experience. It was opened on 4 December 2008. In August 2015 all anchors were OK.
Current status
As of April 2023A large tree is down between R2 and R3, the deviation anchor is gone (probably due to the slide) and the R3 anchor is hidden by vegetation: the canyon is in bad condition.
Anchors and re-equipment
By April 2022 the condition had deteriorated: all rope-based anchors needed replacing: the handrail (MC) of R1 and the MC of R3, R5 and R6. Water was running at that time. In April 2023 the deviation anchor was missing, probably taken out by a landslide, and the R3 anchor was covered by vegetation.
Hazards
Fallen trees at R3 and a recent landslide between R6 and R7 (April 2022); a large tree fallen between R2 and R3 (April 2023).
Anchors, flow and access change with every storm and every winter. Treat the current status as a snapshot and check the latest conditions before any descent.
