Ribeira do Porto Novo (inferior) is a short lower section of the Ribeira do Porto Novo in Santa Cruz (v3a2III) with 4 rappels, the highest 70 m, requiring 2×70 m of rope, and was opened in December 2011. Allow about 45 min for the approach, 2h for the descent and 45 min for the return; the course length is not known.
