Córrego da Pedra is a serious Porto Moniz canyon, graded v5a2III, with 18 rappels culminating in a 210 m waterfall, descending 600 m of stream bed from 695 m down to 18 m altitude, almost at the sea. A minimum of 2 x 50 m of rope is needed. The approach takes about 2 h, the descent around 5 h 30 min and the return only 5 minutes. Beyond these figures no observations on anchors, hazards or conditions are documented.
